1. Don't show off in your neighborhood or drive a flashy toy hauler. 2. If you drive a flashy race trailer, get a theft deterrent system installed to protect motorcycles/ATV and gear. You can afford it, if you’re hauling something so nice. 3. Keep your garage closed when you’re not using it. 4. If you need to keep the garage open and unattended, cover with drop cloth and lock them up. 5. Keep your eyes open if you suspect strange vehicles passing by and call the authorities. 6. Pin a calendar in your garage and log the day/time & license number. You might find a pattern that may help. 7. Lock the motorcycles to something heavy or lock multiple motorcycles up together. 8. Use kryptonite locks with a chain. 9. When traveling park truck/hauler where you can see it. 10. When over-nighting at a motel don't leave your motorbike unattended and unlocked in the bed of your truck. Motels don’t allow bikes in rooms but if you’re careful ask for a ground floor and take it inside. Use the ice bucket in-case of any leaking. You don’t want to pay for damaged carpeting. 11. When selling your motorcycle, don’t invite buyers to your home. Go to a near buy school or parking lot. 12. Take photos of your motorcycles and vin numbers. Keep them in a safe but handy place. Perhaps keep a copy in your glove compartment. Police will ask for pictures and VIN. 13. Call 911 immediately, if your motorcycles are stolen.
